About the Lubavitch Yeshivah Educational Center

Since 1965, the Lubavitch Yeshivah educational center has been providing High School and Junior
College male students with a world class Jewish education. Its mission is to instill in each of
their students compassion for every human being and a love for community service. The school
currently hosts students from 17 states and 10 countries. The Lubavitch Yeshivah Educational Center is a
project of Lubavitch Cheder - Oholei Yosef Yitzchak & Yeshivas Menachem Mendel Lubavitch.


About Harry & Wanda Zekelman

Harry & Wanda Zekelman O.B.M. are the parents of local philanthropists and community leaders
Alan & Lori Zekelman. During their lifetime in Windsor, Ontario the elder Zekelmans were known
for their special dedication to Jewish education. Alan & Lori chose the Lubavitch Yeshivah Educational center
 to carry on their parents’ legacy by educating Jewish children in the Lubavitch spirit of
giving back to the Jewish community in Detroit and across the globe.


About the Harry & Wanda Zekelman campus

The Harry & Wanda Zekelman campus is close to 4 Acres in size and will provide spacious
facilities for 180 high school students to learn and live in a Jewish atmosphere. Two buildings
will be constructed with a total of 50,000 SF. The educational building will feature large study
halls, classrooms, dining halls, multi-purpose rooms and lounges. The dormitory will give the
students a comfortable living area where they can relax and live in a proper manner. The site will
include outdoor recreational areas for the students to play and express their energy. This
campus will employ close to 50 part time and full time teachers and staff.
