Chabad-Lubavitch of Hawaii reportedly baked the world’s largest Chanukah cake-menorah last week, kindling the 2.5-foot-high and eight-foot-long candelabra at its “Chanukah in Ancient Israel” event.
The cake, which was lit by Pearl Krasnjansky, co-director of the Honolulu-based center, was made out of 71 boxes of store-bought cake mix and took five people six hours to assemble.
Baker Liza Shlomo used more than 10 pounds of frosting to decorate the menorah.
Go Chabad!!! Magnificent!! It is heart warming to see that Channukah is alive and well and being celebrated throughout the world, and, in far away places that may have never heard the word "Channukah" before.
Kudos to Chabad and the relentless work that they do.
